Want to see what gets discussed in a den of international entrepreneurialism? Come and watch the Head of Voice from Yahoo! Europe, the Managing Director of Badoo.com and the previous COO of Skype (amongst others) quiz, scrutinize and challenge the thoughts of George Berkowski, co-founder of woome.com.

The MIT Enterprise Forum of the UK is delighted to kick off its 2008 event series with the first 'interactive case study' of the year. The format is simple, welcoming a recently funded technology company to take centre stage under the spotlight and glare of a concentrated panel of experts. Entrepreneurs will be chosen throughout the year with a view to their experience, raw ambition, and potential to achieve dramatic global growth, and during the event will given an opportunity to presenting their plans, on stage, to the movers and shakers of their sectors. With challenging questions fired from the panel, and audience participation, this is an interactive event to really get your teeth into.

About WooMe

WooMe brings the speed dating craze online and extends it to let users meet new people live in fast, fun and free speed sessions. Backed by Niklas Zennström's (Skype Founder) Atomico Investments, the original investors in Skype (Mangrove Capital) and Klaus Hommels (Europe's Investor of the Year, 2006), WooMe is catapulting the $1billion+ speed dating market into the online world. Founded in 2006, WooMe's management team has experience in bringing innovative web applications to market for companies including AltaVista, CMGI, BT, Accenture, Qwest, Shopzilla and Trilogy. George Berkowski, Co-Founder and Product Director, has been brave enough to volunteer for this first event, bringing both extensive entrepreneurial experience in the online space and in outer space; he played a pivotal role in sending the first tourist to the Space Station.

And on the panel ..

The first interactive case study panel features a formidable line-up. We are delighted to be welcoming, amongst others, George Hadjigeorgiou (MD Yahoo! Europe and former Head of Corporate Development), Neil Bryant (MD Badoo.com), and Michael Jackson (ex COO of Skype).

Canapés and drinks will be served during the course of the evening, which is free of charge to all attendees, and kindly sponsored by JMFinn Capital Markets, UK Trade & Investment's Global Entrepreneurs Programme and Mudhut.
