Andrea Blakesley is founder of Mudhut, the Cambridge-based consultancy that has worked alongside over 250 entrepreneurs on pitching for VC and angel investment and for business critical commercial deals. Previously a director of a UK angel investment network, and prior to that one of the original team of Virtual Business Network, Andrea's recent projects include recurring projects with Microsoft on the Imagine Cup, pitch workshops for around 50 entrepreneurs as part of Running the Gauntlet, working closely with various fast growing SMEs in various sectors including the games, biotech and events industries on both commercial & investor pitches, and helping three young entrepreneurs pitch directly to Bill Gates in Seattle.
Andrea is in demand as a public speaker on how to demonstrate commercial value and sell your strategic vision to investors, works on a pro bono capacity with student entrepreneurs from Cambridge University (where she gained her degree) and is shortly launching investor pitch masterclasses and clinics in Bristol, Cambridge, London, Manchester, Oxford & Edinburgh.
